Hello Neighbors, Elaine, Pam B. and Steve B. met with our lawn care provider recently. Following is an email that was received from our lawn care provider addressing our issues: “We talked with our mowing crew and asked them to switch up the direction of mowing where they can (in between houses is difficult to mow different directions) - Weeds thrive in hot weather and thin lawns. The best thing to combat weeds is a thick lawn that is watered well. The lack of rain over the last 45 days has caused many yards to have brown spots. - I would suggest doing a full spray for broadleaf weeds in early to mid October. The cost for the broadleaf weed spray is $1200.00.” Today, 9/30, the additional broadleaf weed control was applied. Please ensure your yards are watered adequately to maintain our property value and reduce the amount of weeds now and next Spring. Thank you.
